In Collective Crying Session, onions take center stage. Together, we peel and chop this universal ingredient while sharing spontaneous conversations. A guest chef transforms them into a delicious dish, while participants fold and tie handkerchiefs, later dyed in a rich Shibori soup made from onion skins. The handkerchiefs become keepsakes of the gathering—infused with memory, color, and warmth—ready to dry future tears. A shared act of cooking, dyeing, and feeling, woven into a single experience.
